Maybe inside are the words – “your results may vary” – so they’ll have a shred of truth in advertising.

Somehow I doubt it.

I’m grateful that I’ve been able to support many poets whose words have touched me. I’ve bought their books. I’ve shared glimpses of their poetry on this site. I’ve read my favorites to friends and passed along the poet’s name. Fortunately, I’ve even been able to attend readings by more than one poet.

Is making “Big Money” what inspires poets to create as they do? I doubt that, too.

Still, if even a little money will encourage and support poets, let’s do it.
