There is no them

“No man is an island, entire of itself” – John Donne.

Written in 1624, the words are still true today. We’re all in this together, like it or not.

Even violent thoughts and words drag us back into the illusion we’re separate, superior, inferior, or equal.

  1. Yes, Hariod. Just as there are times when we breathe in and breathe out, there are times for listening and times for speaking. Thank you for being there.

  2. One could hoped and imagined that the human animal has climbed down from the tree and out of the forest long enough to have discovered a more peaceful approach to life.
Thank you Vincent for your thought provoking post

  3. Thank you, Eddie, for your thoughts and hopes. I’m with you! In fact, I’ve been seeing more and more who are doing just that – climbing down from the tree and out of the forest. To follow on that thought, I’d say we’re not out of the woods yet.
