“You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” – Mae West
There doesn’t seem to be agreement among the world’s religions or scientists about what happens to us when we die.
Looking far ahead to the rest of our life and beyond can give us a sense of purpose above and beyond our own selves.
Dwelling in the past can help us learn from our mistakes, or keep us rooted in them.
Better yet, let’s live while we’re alive.
No matter what we believe, we’ll be making the most of what we have right now.
Very sound advice Vincent, for which many thanks.
With all best wishes.
Hariod.
Dear Hariod,
Thank you. From the many kind and thoughtful comments you’ve shared, I believe you are already well-connected with how to live life fully.
Thanks for sharing what’s in your heart and mind.
Vincent
Thank you Vincent; your own kind and thoughtful comments are deeply appreciated.
I’m all for living in the now, because that is all we’ve go really. Have you ever seen the movie, “The Peaceful Warrior”. It’s absolutely amazing. One of my favorite quotes is, “There are no ordinary moments”.
🙂
Puddles, Vincent. In the eyes of some, it’s all that’s needed. Simply being in the moment…
I’m a visual person so I’m going to focus on the photo; you’ve caught the joy of childhood and the ability of children to very much BE in the moment. Good work!
