“I can’t afford to hate people. I haven’t got that kind of time.”
– The character Kanji Watanbe in the Akira Kurusawa film Ikiru.
After this nearly fossilized bureaucrat faces his death, he comes back to life with a passion.
This movie Ikiru is a great reminder to live while we’re alive, and that most of us can settle into a dreamlike complacency.
Let’s stay awake and alive, friends!
Greatly said and what a beautiful photo!
Lots of love
