As the cover reads “Her Life to Live (Big Eyes) – She Was The Talk Of The Town.”
Who’s to say if our choices are serving us or not?
“Do what brings you alive!”, right?
Well, when the honky-tonk music dies out, the bars are all closed up, and we wake with the taste of too much drink on our lips, what then?
It’s great to popular and desired, right?
Or, isn’t what matters that we’ve chosen to be with people who are kind and loving? (day or night?)
Isn’t what matters that we love ourselves, and take care of ourselves?
Isn’t what matters that we choose to be with the people who know everything about us, and still accept us as we are? Isn’t it even more important that we do that for ourselves – to know everything about ourselves and still love and accept ourselves for being ourselves?
Isn’t that better than external validation – from strangers?
