Dreams, Hope, and Hell

Just raise your head up, and stand up, no fear in your eyes
Tell me love and hope never die
So raise your head up and stand up, no reason to cry
Cause your heart and soul will survive…

– Ozomati in Love and Hope

I feel inspired this morning after an encounter. This was with Thomas, one of the street people that frequents the alley behind my office.

“Mister, can you spare $70,000?”

He is caught is his own hellish story: lived in a mansion, was married 30 years, but she got tired of his drinking and he screwed up. He could build me a palace in Hawaii for $70,000. He has friends. He is a professional.
